AREG’s next meeting is the AGM, scheduled for Friday 17 August 2012.

The meeting will be the usual AGM followed by a brief business meeting then a general social evening.

So, I encourage all members to attend the AGM as it will set the scene for the next 12 months plus for AREG.

Nominations are open for the committee positions.

The invitation for the evening is extended to all persons who may be interested in amateur radio, AREG’s activities and see an amateur radio club in action, however the evening will be primarily focused around AREG’s AGM business etc.

So come along and visit at an AREG meeting, find out what AREG is up to and participate in an evening with other amateur radio operators.

Coffee, tea, cake will be on for supper along with general rag chewing.

AREG’s next general meeting is this Friday 20 July 2012.

This meeting will be AREG’s quarterly business meeting and the meeting will review AREG’s activities and business over the last 12 months.

So, I encourage all members to attend this meeting as it will be the last business meeting prior to AREG’s AGM in August. It will give members the opportunity to review and provide feedback for our business and project activities and will set the scene for the AGM and the future of AREG.

Hi,

Due the large number of apologies, it appears that there may only be 3 – 4 members who are able to attend. This does not meet the requirements for a business meeting and as several of those have some distance to travel, it is probably not warranted for a “bit of a chat”!

So, unfortunately the meeting is cancelled for this evening 15 June.

The next scheduled AREG General meeting will be 20 July and will be a business meeting immediately prior to the AGM in August.

So please put this date, 20 July, in your calendars and keep it free for the AREG meeting.

Sorry to any folks who may have intended to visit AREG.
