ON Saturday March 2nd 2013, the group finally installed it’s 23cm voice repeater covering the Adelaide metropolitan area. The repeater, which operates on 1273.5MHz down / 1293.5MHz up transmits 10 watts and is accessible over a wide area from it’s location at Summertown in the Adelaide Hills.

Thanks must go to Colin VK5ACE and Mark VK5AVQ for their efforts building the machine, and to Ben VK5BB, Colin VK5ACE, Paul VK5BX, Andy VK5AKH and Mark VK5QI who formed the AREG team which conducted the installation.
