AREG Meeting Calendars for 2010 & 2011.
General meetings are the third Friday in each month, except on rare occasions refer to the calander for details.

As AREG is a small group, business meetings are kept a minimum usually about 30min in length, and are usually only held four times a year, unless the need arises.

The club rooms are open on the third Friday of each month. Various activities from show and tell about your current projects, question and answers for people studying towards their Standard or Advance amateur licence's, or as advertised, usually an amateur radio related talk will be given on a subject of interest. AREG would like to welcome any one that is interested to come along and find out just what we are about, so consider this to be your invitation to find our more about AREG, your ham radio club in the Western suburbs.

The Reedbeds community hall will be open from 19:45 (7:45pm) on the night. General meeting / advertised presentation will usually start at 20:00 (8:00pm), so please don't be late.

Location

AREG requests that members and guests please attend the venue for a prompt meeting start by 20:00 (8:00pm).

Parking is usually not a problem, as the Reedbeds hall has plenty of car parks, the hall is located at Phelps Ct, Fulham SA

AREG Membership
Membership of an organization can define who you are. The organization of AREG is completely defined by the people that make up its membership.

Many amateur radio enthusiasts have the misconception that membership of AREG is by invitation only - AREG would like to simply say this is not the case and new members are welcome.

Until recently AREG has not had access to a facility that could be used as a club room, and without such a facility, AREG found holding meetings at regular intervals difficult thus historically it’s been hard to become a member.

How to become a member of AREG
1. Come along to meetings if you can, or talk to members of AREG.
2. Print out and fill in the member ship application form.
3. Have one of the existing AREG members nominate you for membership.
4. Full payment of membership fees.

See that is not that hard to become a member of AREG member after all, so please come along to our next club open night, and talk to use on air. We at AREG hope to see you soon.
